THE steam nameplate collection of wealthy former racing driver and LMS ‘Black Five’owner Ted Watkinson, which has been found in an attic after having been unseen for nearly four decades following his death in 1981, is to go under the hammer.
Ted was born in Harrogate, Yorkshire, in May 1910, the son of a director of the family firm of wool merchants
