BUT I NEED 32-BIT LIBRARIES

The axe-like shadows first hung over 32-bit Ubuntu back in 2017, when desktop ISOs stopped being produced. You could still upgrade, but users were uses a 32-bit runtime, which requires the host to have supporting 32-bit libraries. If that runtime ever went away, many games (which will never be updated or recompiled) would just stop working.
