Pennsylvania Dutch Country in 1962, I attended the art school called The Detroit Society of Arts and Crafts. Our instructors were often employees moonlighting from jobs in the industry. Illustrators, ad men/ women, photographers, transportation designers, engineers, architects, and freelance independents were our guides through the classes. Many times they were able to take a few of us into the facilities of their companies. As a “transportation design”
