When Prog caught up with I Am The Manic Whale’s Michael Whiteman via Skype, the UK was on the second day of the government-advised lockdown, part of the ongoing effort to curtail the spread of Covid-19. Consequently Whiteman, who earns his living as a music teacher, was confined indoors and coming to terms with the fact that his principal means of income had come to an abrupt halt. Happily, he says, his wife is able to continue working from home so things are not as bad as they could be.
