Chasing skirts (on cars)

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” “Different strokes for different folks.” A couple of old sayings that couldn’t ring more true that when a discussion or topic revolves around car/truck design. Whatever one likes, another may detest. So where is this all leading to? The July 26, 2018 issue of Old Cars (yes, I am just getting around to writing this note). A 1930 Oldsmobile graced the cover, but what caught my eye was the 1941 Packard LeBaron Sport Brougham feature article. The style of that car is wonderful to my eye. And what really makes it are the fender skirts. Yep, love those skirts.
