AHEAD OF THE CURVE

As a fashion house in a watchmaking world, Louis Vuitton differentiates itself as a virtuoso of newness, a king in creating and harnessing novelty. That expertise clearly drove its latest haute horlogerie watch, the Tambour Curve Flying Tourbillon, a futuristic, ergonomic design that Head Watchmaker Michel Navas says is a milestone for the maison.

“Everything is new,” he says, “the movement, case, strap – even the materials and buckle are new. For Louis Vuitton, it’s a very new world.”
