Did your relationship with director Shawn Levy from Stranger Things guarantee you the role of Keys, or did you have to audition?

It was like any other project, I auditioned for the role, and], that I could do the part. Being on a project like this was pretty crazy because the wealth of talent in the project is just so deep. You get to work with people like Taika Waititi, who was just such an absolute monster. He was so good! Just as a young actor, being able to watch someone like that work right in front of you, and to play off of that, is so fun – I was pinching myself the whole time.
