BEAR NECESSITIES
The sun was shining, the air was warm, and the outdoors was inviting, as it so often is in Garrett County, Maryland. Our summers are shorter than most in the state due to the higher altitude of the Appalachian Mountains, but it was finally spring, and the weather was perfect for an afternoon mountain bike ride.
