GROW YOURSELF HEALTHY

To maximise the nutritional benefits of the food we grow, it’s essential to select a rainbow of fruit and vegetables that provide many different types of phytochemicals and a feast for our gut microbes (see Grow a Rainbow).

For this simple project, divide up an allotment or patch in your garden to grow a range of colourful crops that will increase the diversity of phytochemicals on your menu. This project demonstrates how to design and grow a plot planted with a rainbow of colourful edibles.
