Roman Coin Find In Cumbria

A PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN Roman settlement at Rampside near Barrow, Cumbria, is documented by a recent find of coins, according to a Feb. 25 British Broadcasting Corporation report.

Cumbria is a predominantly rural county in northwest England. While being the third largest English county in size, Cumbria remains one of the least populated counties. The county can likely best be described as upland, coastal, and rural.
