Bowhunting Dangerous Came

I’VE seen heaps of buffalo and scrub bulls shot with rifles over the years and compared to the big bovines I’ve seen shot and shot myself with the bow, I find that a razor sharp arrow through the lungs of an unsuspecting bull, kills so much quicker and without that adrenaline and stress caused from the crack of a rifle going off. Of course some bulls are dropped in their tracks with big calibres but from my observations the kill is in most cases much quicker with a bow. In some instances I’ve seen the bull actually take the arrow and just stand there not knowing what just happed and before the bull decides that he’s in any sort of danger the razor sharp broadhead has already taken effect and the bull collapses just meters from where he was shot.

This was another huge big bodied bull and a great test for Rad broadheads which we were product testing at the time. The broadhead had smashed through the centre of the bulls rib on entry and still had enough momentum to get a complete pass through out of my 70lb elite bow. Setting this
