‘No one’s pushed me to the point I’m on my knees in pain – not even my personal trainer!’

Anthea Turner will celebrate a big birthday soon – and she has found a unique way of marking it.

The TV presenter, who turns 60 next month, will be put through her paces on one of TV’s toughest shows: Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

“I’m 60 this year and every year I try and do something that puts me out of my comfort zone – and it was this! I did it for myself,” Anthea tells HELLO! about signing up for the Channel 4 show, which subjects 12 famous faces to a gruelling version of the selection process usually reserved for the army’s Special Air Service.

“You tend to get safer as you get older, but it’s not about lotions and potions and creams making you look young,” she says.
