    Reaching across the cockpit table of a Finnmaster T8 I shook Neville Williams’ hand. He’s the owner of Ideal Boats, the UK main dealer for Finnmaster, and we’d just agreed a deal at the 2017 Southampton Boat Show. We had ordered the flagship T8 model and managed to secure an early delivery slot for a fully-loaded version, which had been destined to appear at another boat show.

    Arrangements were made to transport it from the factory in Finland, where it was already pre-rigged to accept the Yamaha outboard, back to Southampton for the motor to be fitted and the installation completed.
