TALENTED LEURA WRITER MARK O’FLYNN DISCUSSES HIS LATEST AND FUTURE WORKS AND WHAT DRIVES HIM TO WRITE. beautiful monologue by a little-known Australian writer, combined with new work has come together in a romantic, dramatic new play labelled Fitson and Dan.

The play is unique because it combines the work of two writers – Kate O’Brien (now deceased) and Mark O’Flynn from Leura.

The play revolves around Miss Fitson who is an independent, free-thinking teacher and communist, reflecting on her life in pre- and post-war Sydney and her partner Dan, a larrikin plunged reluctantly into war.
