The Nikon Z50 was released worldwide on 10th October 2019. This is the first Z-series DX model from Nikon, the earlier models being the full frame Z6 and Z7. The Z50, though smaller, lighter and less expensive than the full frame siblings, offers great features combined with great potential for high image quality. Design & Build Quality

The Z50 is a compact, lightweight, interchangeable lens mirrorless camera utilising an APS-C imaging sensor. It has good build quality; it uses magnesium alloy for the front and top covers to give it extra strength while keeping the weight low. The Z50 has a comfortable grip and the operating buttons are placed ergonomically. The Z50 is Nikon’s first APS-C model in the Z-series. The camera body weighs approximately 450 g including the battery and the memory card. The camera is made in Thailand.
