As my pregnancy drew to an end, I was overcome with a mix of nerves and excitement.
Just like any new mum, I worried about all the normal things, but there were a few other factors for me to consider.
As a single mum, I knew it would be tough, but not only that, I had dwarfism.
Whilst I accepted my condition long ago, and never felt like I’d missed out on anything, I still worried about passing the gene down to my unborn baby.
