De Blob

Developer Blue Tongue Entertainment Publisher THQ, Universomo Format iOS, Wii Release 2008

There’s a lovely story behind : originally made by a small team of developer Ronimo Games. The story of the game itself is, in the current climate, at once chilling and uplifting. A military dictatorship has mandated that people stay indoors, and stripped Chroma City of colour, life and happiness. As the titular, colour-shifting blob, you’re tasked with restoring all three to the world by splattering the scenery in paint. Years before , proved that the simple pleasure of colouring something in translated wonderfully to the TV screen.
