As her family laughed together in the sunny back garden, Laura thought back to last Anzac Day.
‘Come on you pair of sleepyheads, move it,’ Laura said, drawing the curtains in the room her twins shared. ‘Today we’re off to see the Anzac Day march.’
‘But Mum, it’s a holiday. Can’t you go on your own?’ Max had said, sleepily.
‘And it’s too hot. Why can’t we go to the beach?’ grumbled Mia.
‘Because I’m the boss,’ said Laura.
