We opt for the former, as Fraktale Fragmente’s unpredictable lucky dip of 500 spectacularly heterogeneous and length-variable mechanical, electronic, aquatic, found, environmental and other noises makes for one of the most exhilarating soundware listening experiences we’ve had of late. The included Kontakt instrument puts the samples into a rudimentary interface with adjustment of start point, amp and filter modulation, and a bank of effects, adding to the value.
