A ‘painted’ telescope
about Tom Bartol’s massive equatorial mount. He made it to carry his home-built 25-cm f/5.6 Newtonian telescope, which has a cardboard tube OTA. After the mount was finished, the scope seemed a bit shabby compared to its shiny new support. So one of Tom’s friends, Cary Thomas, offered to help him make a carbon-fibre tube to replace it.
