MOVIN’ ON UP…

There are so many ways you can extend your home — add another storey, extend underneath the existing structure, or extend out to one side or the rear of the home to create extra living space.

Paul Cree from Refresh Renovations says there are many good reasons homeowners choose to revitalise and extend their existing home, rather than relocate to another. “Many people have a strong emotional attachment to their home; they spend years nurturing the space and realise they’ll be starting from a blank canvas if they move,” he says. “There are also costs with moving, including real estate and solicitor’s fees which can be significant. Could that money be better invested in the home you already have?”
