Tradition of Cranston show lives on

An event has to be good to survive and even prosper for more than four decades. And it has to be even better to shut down for two years, then make a strong comeback fueled by popular demand.

That’s how good the annual Cranston Sports Collectors Show in Rhode Island has been since it first opened for business way back in 1976.

Tom McDonough created the show because of his own interest in collecting sports memorabilia, and also to help his Cranston parish – Immaculate Conception Church.
