It could have been a simple clash of dates, but fans are worried it’s more than just a strange coincidence that Lachy Gillespie’s fiancee Dana Stephensen chose the date of his wedding anniversary to Emma Watkins to propose to him.
“I find it a bit strange she asked him on the date that was his wedding anniversary,” one person wrote online, while another added, “It seems kind of bizarre.”
Just last week Lachy and Dana surprised the world when they announced their happy news.
“On Thursday night [April 9], Dana asked me to marry her at home under a fairy light sky and a very excited little boy in a beautiful bow tie,” a gushing Lachy, 34, wrote alongside a photo of Dana, 35, and her four-year old son Jasper.
