SLUGGING IT OUT
You won’t have failed to notice that slug ammo is a huge talking point right now. Social media is awash with claims about this bullet-shaped ammo’s ability to maintain momentum, retain energy and deliver remarkable accuracy out to ridiculous distances.
Quite frankly, I was already more than happy with what my airguns were achieving with conventional pellets, but with slugs causing such a stir, I decided to carry out a test of my own to find out whether they really are the next big thing or just a flash in the pan.
