Clooney shows star quality

British Riding Clubs HorseQuest Arena Eventing Championships, Aston-le-Walls, Northants

HEIDI STEWART and Cavalier Clooney went home from the BRC HorseQuest Arena Eventing Championships at Aston-le-Walls with a lorryload of prizes after they claimed both team and individual honours in the mixed 100 class for Northallerton RC.

The duo produced a double clear around the course, which featured a series of showjumping fences immediately followed by a string of cross-country obstacles such as water, steps and logs. The final fence – the joker – was a showjump set up to 10cm
