After much too short a time at the helm of this column, Eddie DeYoung, KS4AA, became a Silent Key on February 25th, 2020. A few weeks earlier, he had told us he was ill and stepped down as Awards Editor, so we had already started looking for a successor. Our condolences to Eddie’s wife, Mina, and the rest of his family.

Starting next month, Jim Houser, WA8JIM, will be picking up the mantle and bringing you his own take on award hunting. Jim’s perspective is likely to be a little different from that of his predecessors, since he is still actively in the hunt for new “wallpaper,” holding Worked All Continents (WAC) and Worked All
