Applications Of Stealth Technology To The Design Of Invisible Antennas
LAUTON INSTITUTE GROSSMAUL-AN DER DONAU, AUSTRIA
Professor Jerzy Ostermond-Tor was joined in April Foolery by Professor Emil Heisseluft (German for “hot air”) of the Lauton Institute in Grossmaul-an Der Donau, Austria. The current author of the Heisseluft series (which he started writing in 1976 and whose true identity is still a closely-guarded secret) has carried on Ostermond-Tor’s tradition of slightly stretching the limits of known science — and of predicting future developments. In this article from 1981, the esteemed professor extended the concept of stealth technology from aircraft that were virtually invisible to radar to airplanes and antennas that were invisible to the naked eye as well. It took some 30 years after that for “cloaking” technology to actually be developed. Here’s a look back … into the future! –
