TONY SIMPSON: A TRUE CLUBMAN COMPETITOR

Swap Jamie Carragher and Tony Bellew for Martin Rowe and Gwyndaf Evans. Forget Liverpool’s traditional love of football and boxing; for Tony Simpson it was all about rallying.

Captivated in particular by the Formula 2 Kit Car era of the late 1990s, any front-wheel-drive naturally-aspirated rally car subsequently has Simpson hooked.
