Working in a leading British Touring Car Championship team, you are always going to be sharing the squad with someone else, and it can provide some interesting subplots –particularly like last year, when I was going toe-to-toe with my WSR BMW 330i M Sport team-mate Colin Turkington for the title.
You certainly don’t get to choose who your team-mate is and you aren’t really involved in that process, but nor do I really care. I would rather have a good team-mate, because that helps move everything along and you learn faster. You never stop learning and take Colin, for example. I
