Every time Helen Glover returns to this spectacular stretch of coastline, she is reminded of why Cornwall is the place she considers home. The Olympic Gold medallist’s most recent visit, only a week before the country went into lockdown, was even more special as it was the first time with two-month-old twins Kit and Willow, who were joined by their big brother, 21-month-old Logan.
“This is magical to see them on the beaches I used to run around on. I can’t believe this is the first time here with these two, but it feels like I have blinked and they are two months old! Logan already has his Cornish friends and recognises the beach when we come back. I want that for the twins as well,” says 33-year-old Helen, who now lives in Marlow in Buckinghamshire with her husband,
