From The Beginning

That which we now think of as immutable and forever fixed in the bricks and mortar of history often only fell into place on the fickle breeze of chance, a whim, a toss of the coin, or sometimes one strongly held opinion acceding to another. Another, Studfarm, would have created a very different impression altogether but would at least have made the cover to Love Beach make more sense. In the end, perhaps inspired by Crosby, Stills & Nash’s conjoining the previous year, Emerson, Lake & Palmer possessed a very direct ‘this is who we are’ efficacy to it.
