Why?

Gorgeous coastline and countryside to explore on foot, and plenty of wildlife to photograph

We’ve been unable to go away in Hilary, our Hymer motorhome, as much as we would like this year, but a window of opportunity presented itself in early September. With only a few days available, we didn’t want to travel too far, so we opted for a trip to Tenby, in Pembrokeshire, on the south-west coast of Wales.

We prefer to set up on a site and walk or use public transport during our tours, so we decided to stay at New Hedges, where there are numerous campsites within walking distance of the popular seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot.
