End of year gear
It’s been a busy season and I made the most of it, especially the last month – maximising every opportunity to get out and hunt. This was made all the more ‘interesting’ by the storms we had in February; all coinciding with me being on the mountain. The upside of this was that I got to hunt full days and really test my gear – especially on the clothing front.
This season I had two new rifles, in two new calibres for me, new scopes, bipod, boots, jackets and trousers. There was other stuff too but I’ll limit my review to these for now. Regular readers will have a good idea of my thoughts on the Proof Research 7mm Rem Mag from the article on Monster Hybrids so here I will focus on the other rifle. Funnily enough, the rifle I want to review here is a Hybrid of sorts.
