OOK AROUND Beverly Hills and you’ll see why the city gets its reputation as the epicenter of luxury. Its palm tree-lined streets are hugged by opulent estates, swanky hotels, fancy cars, and high-end retail stores touting brands such as Cartier, Christian Dior, and Valentino. And just a stone’s throw from Rodeo Drive—the most famous shopping street in the world—sits an upscale bakery named Ladurée. The iconic pâtisserie has since grown to become a world-famous brand with 86 locations in cities from Dublin to Dubai. Its show-stopping confections were in 2006, and Jessica Alba, Martha Stewart, and Meghan Markle are just a few of its celebrity fans.
