Change of plan. This column was set to be all about a new calendar year for National Hot Rods, after a night in the freezing cold at Birmingham Wheels on March 7. Except, that as you will have read over the weeks in Sporting Scene in Motorsport News, Birmingham Wheels is no more. Seemingly, it has fallen victim to a combination of council machinations and rent increases, although all the details are known only by the parties involved.
