Modified Escorts are 10-a-penny in Ireland but David Bogie’s is different, and purposefully so. Well over 50% of the components in his car – designed and developed between Bogie and Escort guru Hamish Kinloch – are totally bespoke.
And the results it has already achieved are remarkable with outright podiums on the Mull and Jim Clark rallies in 2019.
Bogie says: “It’s something I’m very proud of, and I take as much satisfaction from seeing other people get satisfaction from seeing the car at scrutineering or the service area or seeing the car on the stages.
