THE ULTIMATE ESCORT BOGIE’S LATEST CHALLENGE

Modified Escorts are 10-a-penny in Ireland but David Bogie’s is different, and purposefully so. Well over 50% of the components in his car – designed and developed between Bogie and Escort guru Hamish Kinloch – are totally bespoke.

And the results it has already achieved are remarkable with outright podiums on the Mull and Jim Clark rallies in 2019.

Bogie says: “It’s something I’m very proud of, and I take as much satisfaction from seeing other people get satisfaction from seeing the car at scrutineering or the service area or seeing the car on the stages. It has very much been a team effort [between me, Hamish and Robbie the engineer] and I think it’s a fantastic car [we’ve] built between us all.”
