Geneviève and Michel Vernède, however, decided that they would have the best of both worlds. They already owned a modern apartment in Paris, but also craved a country escape. Having successfully completed a renovation near Paris, they were ready for a bigger project, which would have space for their children and grandchildren to spend their holidays together.
