THE smallest ponies on show landed the biggest accolades, proving that size really is irrelevant if quality, performance and star quality shine through.

The super Shetland Evie’s Pride (Thor) and her six-year-old jockey Scarlett Sharp nailed their supreme performance to claim the overall ridden title.

After qualifying for the Royal International (RIHS) in the traditional ponies earlier in the day and standing reserve to the eventual ridden horse supreme So Sweet (Megan Thompson), the mini marvels returned to impress overall judges Julian Walters, Emma Payne and Janet Smithers.
