Belonging. It’s a simple word with a mountain of meaning. You know how it goes, you work hard and belong to a certain industry or profession, you have kids and belong to a parents and citizens organisation. Then you retire, work connections disappear, the kids move out to live their lives and chase adventures, and you’re left with time on your hands.
It’s long been argued caravanning and travelling is a way to find purpose in life when all you’ve got is time, and as it turns out, staying connected and belonging to something when on the road is essential to staying healthy. The trouble is knowing if joining a club, especially a caravan club, is the right way to fill those empty
