International soprano Danielle de Niese and her husband Gus Christie, the chief executive of Glyndebourne opera house, are passionate about changing the perceived elitism of opera and making it more accessible.

That’s why, every autumn, the Glyndebourne Tour travels England, offering tickets from as little as £10 to reach as many people as possible. Glyndebourne was also the first opera company to stream its productions online for free.
