There’s a certain repetitiveness and orthogonal rhythm to the busy streets of Hong Kong. Buildings appear to simply be extruded from their foundations, their structures unmodified over endless floors. One exception to this consistent, painfully rational and rather rigorous urban fabric is the Hong Kong Club Building in Central district, a modernist landmark whose distinct curved facades introduce a certain softness to the otherwise rough urban landscape.
