‘ I WAS CRUSHED by a car and left UNABLE TO WALK’
The car was accelerating towards me at speed and I started to shout. I could hear other people yelling ‘stop, stop’. I remember thinking, I’m going to be run over. The car hit me head-on and the pain was incredible.
