When we think of “rugged” compact cameras, the Olympus Tough line is the first to come to mind, and the new Olympus Tough TG-6 continues the company’s leadership in the category. What distinguishes the Olympus Tough line— apart from the cameras themselves—is the array of accessories that Olympus offers. It’s not just a camera, but a complete system that can be tailored for specific uses. Optional accessories include three optical converters, two ring lights, an underwater housing and strobes for deeper dives than the camera can do on its own, plus protective equipment like a lens barrier and floatation device.
