THE NIKON D6 IS COMING SOON

Nikon has announced the development of a new flagship DSLR, the D6. Details of the successor to the D5—Nikon’s top-of-the-line professional camera released in 2016—were very limited at the time of this writing, with Nikon merely stating that the camera is in development. Nikon notes that 2019 is the 20th anniversary of the introduction of the D1, so it’s likely that more details on the D6 will be made public by year’s end.

Along with the D6, Nikon also announced development of a new F Mount pro telephoto zoom lens, the AF-S NIKKOR. Like the D6, details including specs, price and availability weren’t yet disclosed at press time. Nikon, .
