SIDDHANT CHATURVEDI
His smirk and self-assurance in belied that of a newcomer. Siddhant Chaturvedi, as MC Sher, was the perfect foil to Murad’s (Ranveer Singh) torment, scene to scene, rap to rap. Hailing from small-town Ballia in Uttar Pradesh, Siddhant’s family shifted to Mumbai. Here, he studied Chartered Accountancy and dabbled in theatre. The artiste in him finally chose art over commerce after he won the Bombay Times’ National Talent in 2012. A few commercials later, Luv Ranjan’s sitcom (2016), a comedy series, won Siddhant notice.
