NABARD TAKING RURAL INDIA FORWARD

NABARD is India’s apex development bank, formed by an Act of Parliament in 1982 and wholly owned by the Government of India (GoI). Its mandate is to promote sustainable and equitable agriculture and rural development. NABARD’s activities can be broadly categorised into three heads: Financial, Developmental and Supervision. Through these initiatives, the institution touches almost every aspect of rural economy.
