The horse has figured in many a knight’s tale, imposing its purpose upon history. Yet, in all its grace and nobility, the horse is humble enough to carry man on his back. It’s no wonder horses have incited the passion of their owners and breeders, not unlike the owners of this old cottage in the Santo Estevao area just outside Lisbon.
