TESTED BY THE EXPERTS EISA Awards 2019/ 2020

As of last year, EISA dropped ‘European’ from its name to become the Expert Imaging and Sound Association, as it welcomes new member magazines from Canada, Hong Kong, India, Japan, the United States — plus our titles Sound+Image and Australian Hi-Fi here in Australia. You might imagine that getting editors from 61 special interest magazines across 29 countries to agree on a final list of winners might be quite the process. We were pleased to find it a highly organised one. Note that while most winners have identical or near-identical Australian counterparts, sometimes our outlying region gets a significantly different model, or the brand is not available here at all. The rest, however, represent the world’s best.

We are presenting here the winners from the two Home Theatre expert groups; for winners from the other expert groups see p31; details of the Hi-Fi winners will be published in Australian Hi-Fi magazine.
