CRUISING INTO THE PROFESSIONAL RANKS

Like to travel but don’t like to pack? Cruising the world, performing for ever-changing audiences and getting paid to do it has been a dream job for thousands of skaters over the past two decades.

With the 2018-2019 season now complete, some skaters will be looking to continue their careers outside of competitions.

Willy Bietak Productions, a company based in Santa Monica, California, is the creative force behind the production of the skating shows that form part of the entertainment sector on Royal Caribbean’s 12 mega cruise ships. Its tours go to Oceania, the Far East, the Caribbean, Europe, Scandinavia, Canada and the Mediterranean in the summer.
