In September 1907, up to 500 people vandalized dozens of stores owned by Chinese Canadians and Japanese Canadians. Damage was estimated in the tens of thousands of dollars and onewebsite includes a geomap of all the Japanese Canadian-owned stores that were vandalized and a five-episode podcast. Content was created by University of British Columbia students in Dr. Tristan Grunow’s classes in the Spring of 2018 and 2019.
